McGILL, Justice. This is a workmen's compensation case in which appellant, the claimant, sought to recover from appellee, the insurer, for total and permanent disability because of an occupational disease due to his inhaling hydrogen sulphide gas while employed by Gulf Oil Corporation -- Gulf Production Division, as an oil field worker in the Sand Hills Gulf Camp in Crane County. Trial to a jury resulted in answers to special issues on which the court entered a take nothing judgment against appellant. We shall refer to appellant as plaintiff, to appellee as defendant, and to the Gulf Oil Corporation -- Gulf Production Division, as ""Gulf"".
